Portfolio
Below are several samples of my work that touch on user experience life-cycles, user flows, wire-frames, visuals design and usability testing.
User Experience Lifecycle
This is the user experience lifecycle that I've created for myself and my team. This is what we strive to follow when designing new concepts to make sure what is produced meets the user's expectations. The basics of it are taken from Jesse James Garrett's The Elements of User Experience; a good book and one I'd highly suggest if you have not yet read it.
Visual Design
For the past 2 years I have been leading the interaction design, visual design, and usability teams through a 3 (2 released so far) e-commerce site, 1 community site overhaul. We are transitioning off our old platforms onto 2 new enterprise platforms. This section represents this transition from past visuals to current visuals.
The following represent some additional visual designs done for personal projects.
Mobile Wireframes
These wireframes represent a version of the Musician's Friend Stupid Deal of the Day iPhone application.
Usability Test Plan
This is a usability test plan I put together for testing the new Music123.com site. We rolled a brand new design onto a new enterprise e-commerce system called ATG and needed to do the appropriate usability testing to make sure customers were able to utilize the features correctly.
E-Commerce Browse Flows
These show sample user flows for browsing down a taxonomy of products.
Customer Beta Site Flows
Below is the plan we used when beta testing our new Musician's Friend website. We needed a way to move a select amount of customers from our normal site to the new site for testing.
JIVE/Music123 Community Wireframes
The following wireframes represent a clickable prototype to show the integration between JIVE community and Music123 on ATG.
